To discharge or reuse wastewater up to the standard after treatment, various chemicals are required in the treatment process.
These chemicals can be classified according to their use:
- Flocculant: It uses for solid-liquid separation, used in the primary sedimentation tank, secondary sedimentation tank, flotation tank, and tertiary treatment or advanced treatment.Such as Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC).
- Coagulant chemicals: Auxiliary flocculant strengthens the coagulation effect.Such as Polyacrylamide (PAM).
- Conditioning chemicals: It is used for conditioning the sludge before dewatering, which includes some flocculants and coagulation aids.Such as ferric chloride wastewater treatment.
- Demulsifier: It is mainly used for pretreatment of oily wastewater containing emulsified oil before flotation.Such as Surfactant.
- Defoamer: It is mainly used to eliminate a large amount of foam in the process of aeration or agitation.
- pH regulation chemicals: It is used to adjust the pH value of acidic wastewater and alkaline wastewater to neutral.Such as Sulfuric acid or sodium hydroxide in water treatment.
- Redox chemicals: It is used for the treatment of industrial wastewater containing oxidative or reducing substances.Such as chlorine water treatment
- Disinfectant: disinfectant for water treatment.Such as sodium hypochlorite water treatment.
Although there are many types of chemicals, a chemical is used on different occasions and has different functions, so it will have different names.
Next time I read a blog, Hopefully it wont fail me as much as this one. After all, Yes, it was my choice to read through, however I truly thought you would probably have something useful to talk about. All I hear is a bunch of complaining about something you can fix if you were not too busy seeking attention.
